DESCRIPTION
The site was residential subdivided off an overdeveloped doctors’ site with severe impermeable area restrictions. Carparking had to be under the building.
The building was designed with half of the building as a cantilever over basement carpark to provide for manoeuvring from the neighbour’s ROW. A winding path disabled ramp avoided a lift.
A sympathetic engineering solution to a premium but economical architectural design with resource consent by us.
Detention tanks were designed allowing the over-developed doctors site and bridging to a main sewer under a carpark column.
