DESCRIPTION
Apcon Paterson carried out the design of this much loved holiday house.
We designed to capitalise on the ocean views and within the height covenant of the subdivision.
We did the planning, structural, drainage and met the geotechnical requirements of the subdivision.
To provide for low maintenance and economy of a holiday home we used rafterless thermopanel roofing on timber beams set on the diagonal with sawtooth edge detail (these would otherwise be cut to waste) and vertical coloursteel cladding which does not require a separate cavity.
